Meet the Family Behind the Finds
 

Hi! We’re Ashley and Beau, the wife and wife team
behind Storybook Finds,
you'll often see us at our markets with our bunch, Hails and her partner Carlos & our boy Trav.

We have been married for 10 years, and this little business is truly a family effort. From hunting for treasures and preparing inventory to setting up at markets
and helping customers, everyone plays a part.
 

Beau is an Army veteran, originally from Southwest Michighan and Ashley, locally known as Ashley Dee is a photographer who has spent more than 15 years serving local families through creative experiences and meaningful memories. Finding beauty, telling stories and connecting with people have always come naturally to her.

Storybook Finds feels like a new chapter of that same calling, only now we are helping previously loved
belongings continue their stories too.

Ashley is also a chronically ill baddie with a dynamic disability. Sometimes she walk's, sometimes she roll's. ♿️🌼

Depending on the day, you may see her using a cane, a mobility device or working from a chair while her family keeps things moving. Storybook Finds allows her to build something meaningful alongside the people she love's while honoring what her body needs.
 

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We believe usable clothing, furniture, books, décor and everyday treasures deserve another chance before ending up in a landfill. Through thrifting, donating and rehoming, we make it easier for good things to find their next chapter while keeping prices approachable for local families.

Most importantly, everyone is welcome here. Storybook Finds proudly welcomes every race, gender, belief, sexuality, ability and walk of life. We want our market space to feel kind, comfortable and inclusive, because secondhand treasures and fresh beginnings belong to everyone. 🤎📖🌿
